23#28 The Yerkes-Dodson Law & Stick to My Own Pace
昨天学习了 Yerkes-Dodson Law,这使我认识到目前存在的、制约学习效率的最大问题之一:过强的动机使我处于过度焦虑和紧张的状态,反而使得效率下降。

我是有一点完美主义倾向的。做一件事情如果不经过细致准备和反复检查,总是会不放心。然而,这种完美主义增加了我做事时的时间成本,也加剧了我的焦虑。特别是最近,考虑到接下来 2 年的时间节点,我很需要赶 AAAI。但受限于个人编程能力,目前的迭代效率太慢了,再加上之前还在其他事务花费了一个月时间,所以时间更加捉襟见肘。
与此同时,我的效率却比之前下降了很多,经常会出现拖延、分心的问题。昨晚桌游回来,坐在工位前,我思考了到底有没有必要这么着急,到底有没有必要为了一个小目标推翻之前的节奏,全部时间投入到赶会议一件事情上。
我的答案是,有必要保持紧迫感抓紧时间,但没有必要影响到自己的节奏。如果失去自己的节奏,还是不分昼夜地做一件事,可能会重蹈覆辙。而且目前的身体状态也不允许我不理智地工作。
“行胜于言”
所以,从今天开始我首先会保持住每天的节奏:早晨练习英语口语,上午和下午正常科研,午饭后高效休息 45 分钟,晚上看论文、学相关背景知识。我会将 AAAI 作为一个重要目标,也会在这期间有侧重地调整每天晚上的学习内容,但是我会坚持自己的节奏。今天我把目前为止公布的 CCF A 等重要会议设置了提醒日期,接下来会有意识地提前规划工作进度,不赶 Deadline。

Morning:
Wake up at 6:30 am every day
Daily English Words & Oral Practice
Noon:
Have a break
Evening:Daily Leetcode practice and weekly contest (Concentrate on relevant algorithms)
Daily Paper reading (read 1 + 10 (at least 3) papers every day carefully and record them in Notes)
Daily exercise (swim at least twice, get up early and jog, and keep fit)
Daily Self Study: Now are pytorch and coding skills.
Daily New Knowledge: Whatever kinds of new knowledge, it can be math, computer, economics, history, and music. Keep eager, Keep curious.
Daily Feedback: Summarize the day and make plans for tomorrow.
Life:
Make sure I get sufficient sleep (sleep before 11 pm and have a noon break)

Research:
Spend enough time

本周的每日总结有所懈怠,下周开始要坚持每天回去睡觉前定好第二天 To-do list,同时也得严格执行,不可以挑软柿子捏。
睡眠方面,有了昨天的思考,我认为必须要保证足够的睡眠,同时也要保证高效,不能因电子设备分心太久。同时,要继续尝试新娱乐方式的实践。
未来(大约 8 月底开始)的两个 To-do:

- 基本乐理学习 & 周末早起练习钢琴
